Increased numbers of electric bikes and e-scooters are good for the environment, but they have also led to an increase in accidents. To reduce the number of accidents, better data is needed to understand where and how accidents occur.

Kobla is therefore proud to announce a partnership with the British company See.Sense, becoming the reseller of their data collection and insight solutions in the Norwegian market. These solutions map where and how people cycle, and with its unique technology, See.Sense is the market leader in this type of surveys.

“To reduce the number of collisions, we don’t need more regulations, but better data and insights so that cost-effective and targeted measures can be implemented to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians. Kobla wants to help more people choose active transportation in their daily lives, and increased safety for pedestrians and cyclists is essential to achieving this.” – Ole Liabø, General Manager of Kobla AS.

“We’re looking forward to helping Norwegian cities and municipalities improve safety for cyclists in both summer and winter.” – Irene McAleese, Marketing Manager See.Sense (Limeforge Ltd.)
