Kobla Deviation makes it fun, easy and rewarding to uncover and report, for example, repair needs on the bike path to school, or contribute to the inspection of services such as snow removal in the neighborhood. These days, almost everyone has a smartphone with a camera. With the Kobla Avvik app downloaded, residents can easily snap photos of the small and large problems they encounter during their everyday journeys and have them reported to the right recipient. Commenting is optional, but GPS location and metadata about the moment are automatically added upon submission. The recipient can tag the entry based on validity, relevance and usefulness, and bonus points are calculated accordingly. The position of the entries is shown on maps and as part of any journey they were made on. Naturally, the entries are filtered so that the recipient is not overloaded.
Kobla Deviation
Make citizens active participants in the quality of their own municipality.
Made visible to citizens
Citizens’ contributions are rewarded with bonus points and made visible on their own page, as part of a joint effort to improve the quality of the municipality’s service production. In this way, it becomes a unifying project to make the city or village smarter and better adapted to the needs of its residents.
Kobla Avvik can be combined with all other Kobla products. For example, it was used to report winter maintenance for the Oslo Urban Environment Agency’s winter cyclist travel habit survey.
